Low contry drum

Devi drum is famous for low contry dance. They use this drum as their main drum. Kithul , pol , trunks are use to make this drum stem.  The bay of cow and skin of monkey are use to make drum eye. Warawata is make to using cow skin. These drum make "thath ,dith ,thon ,nan" sounds. In low contry people use this drum for theva time. We can see this drum in devil dance, dewol madu shanthikarma, gam madu, thovil. 70-75cm inches of thease drum lenth drum eye 25cm lenth. This drum has 6 parts. They are drum left eye ,right eye, kapum skin, drum rob, weniwara, warapata. This drum helps to show our poud tradition.
