 Also we commemorate the 3rd visit of the budda to kalaniya on a vesak poya day. We celebrate vesak hoisting the buddist flag. Decorat the houses with colourful lanterns and papers streamers send vesak card to wish each other. People creat colourful pandols of jathaka tales (stories) conducting vesak perahara buddist go to the temple , oberve atasil, listen to dhamma preaching, giving alms food is given free at dansal. Singing bakthi gee, involve in charity work.
